So here we go. Let's get this story started. My name is Farah. I from Toronto and I love everything that life has to offer. I'm an extremely happy person but I assure you I still hurt and bleed like all you out there. I try to focus on the positives and remember that the biggest gift we have been given is life. My belief is that you should strive to be a good person. What does my definition of good entail? Well, it's pretty simple actually. Be honest to yourself and others, try not to hurt those around you, and allow love to overcome the hate.
So why blog? Read on, please.
Ever since I could breathe I wanted to be a musician - opera singer to be precise. I always say that I didn't choose music, but rather music chose me. For all you non musicians that might seem a little strange, but I tell you: it is the truth. I have tried to cut music out of me and pursue a more generic and conventional lifestyle. Whilst in Toronto I worked as a kindergarten teacher, but I was never fully satisfied. Somewhere deep down inside the depths of my little heart, I could hear a voice say "You are being safe. You need to let go and pursue your dream." I couldn't ignore the voice anymore. On September 20, 2011 I packed two suitcases and moved to Germany to chase my dream. I'm writing this blog so that I can remember the many successes, struggles and adventures I will encounter throughout my journey.
